The third road to "nowhere"

Knowledge and its acceptance don’t often go hand in hand as we’d like them to. It takes considerable time to accept the well known differences in individual beings, the fact that people differ in their demeanour: the ways they react, rationalise, appreciate, care et al.

At every juncture, two alternates surface to bludgeon one’s rationality. To please the world (Be world-worthy as I like to phrase it) or to stand up for the ones that truly matter (the niches of anyone’s life). Now, I’d imagine you can take either of the two stances, accounting for the opportunity costs (Damn my business jargon, right?). But should you think of riding both these boats, I find only one certain destination on the cards, and that’s landing up “nowhere”.

World-worthy or niche-admirer is again something dependent on individuality of beings. People would differ on their choices against the same stimuli. That said, picking what you truly feel would leave you without guilt is suggested. Rest assured, choosing the world wouldn’t make the world choose you, as much as standing up for someone wouldn’t assure their standing up for you against the masses. The only soother in such times is your guilt free soul. Stick by it.
