Rise in horror, alien shadows scary and dark,
moon-lit skies servile glimmer of fusillade.
Terrorised lands, forests and lakes,
bleeding guns and harpooning blades.
Shrapnels that rain and fires that blossom,
sacrificing martyrs, ardent and mettlesome.
The glory of wars, and medals of bravery,
stunningly guise human brutality.
Wars that are waged on egoistic tiffs,
to enforce otherwise insurmountable.
For the fear they spread, lives they cost,
are synonymic to terrorism; and thus accountable.
Hundreds of thousands that perish,
fighting for honor and exaltation,
Marionettes in the hands of unworthy,
deceieted, mislead into battlestation.
