All is not lost

Its never too late. Well, we certainly proved that wrong. The grave problem of pollution control has rather been dealt with least concern.
And a sudden rise from slumber just made us realise the gravity of the issue.Damage has already been done. The least we can do is control the extent of it. And, if this post can influence even one person, I'd be satisfied, if not more. I don't intend to talk about all the protocols and conventions. With a lot of buzz around in the media, I am sure everyone would be much aware about that. Then what is it that I want to touch upon? Its again something we all know about, but lack application. Lets, for example, talk about Diwali. How many people you know, actually celebrate Diwali without much of firecrackers? Talk about it, and you'd get all the callow replies possible. People just fail to look at the bigger picture. We cannot move on to raise awareness amongst the illiterate batch of people, when the learned are turning a blind eye. Its easier to teach an aspiring chicken to fly then an unwilling eagle. Having knowledge of the issue does not make someone part of the solution. It all zeroes down to application. A mere display of histrionics every now and then wont serve the purpose. A constant effort is required, and I need not mention, that every minuscule effort can make a difference. Try telling your street sweeper not to burn the collected garbage. Try turning off the engines at red lights. Try sharing your thoughts on same. Try spreading awareness. I did. Hope u would too!
